I've only purchased this camera a few weeks ago, but have taken it on holiday and i work in I.T. so I've used numerous digital cameras from a wide price range. I would reccommend the 720 to anyone, it cost about £150 and the picture quality is excellent (3.3MP). The camera has a 12X zoom ( 3x optical and 4x digital)which is impressive considering the cameras pricing. It also records audio and video (max 30 secs), which not always needed is nice to have. It takes memory cards with a max of 128MB of storage (there is only 16MB on the camera itself), a 128MB card costs around £70, which will allow you to take about 100 pictures on the highest quality and over 1000 on the lowest. i hate to admitt it but I also dropped the camera and it survived!!

We bought this camera earlier this year as our first digital camera having decided that digital is the way to go. Not knowing much about them I left the final decision to my partner and I was a bit hesitant about using it at first but since I started I haven't stopped. It is so easy to use and the menu on the LCD screen is very user friendly telling you exactly what you need to do as is the software for uploading the pictures onto the PC. The camera ... ...3x digital zoom which is excellent for getting those great close ups. The camera comes with 16MB of internal memory which takes approximately 11 good quality photos. It also has 3 levels of quality with 1 star being the lowest quality for sending photos by email.
