I really like this new breed of printer, on the front are four different card slots so you can print direct from a memory card, a usb socket for printing direct from a digital camera and a usb slot at the back for connection to a computer. It has an a4 paper tray and above it an opening for 6x4 photopaper or envelopes. the print quality is really good although for photos is very very slow. the buttons on the front consist of the normal power button, print button then two buttons next to a decent sized lcd display which shows menu options, the two buttons relate to how big you want your photos printed. below this is another menu button with an ok and cancel button either side. the menu allows you to select more paper options and also help set the language of the printer and make the printer self clean the cartridges to 3 levels. the printer itself is quite large and bulky but not overly heavy.
all in all i like this printer, it should be for home use only as business users may fall asleep waiting for detailed photo printing to finish although through a computer a normal word document etc will print fast enough to satisfy. i rate this printer well for its price but if you want to use it a lot and have the money look for the newer versions from hewlett packard.
