This printer produces quality photo prints. It has slots for a variety of memory cards so that you can plug in your memory card straight to the printer rather than having to plug it into the PC. Or you can plug the camera straight into it.
However you should only have this printer for printing photographs, and have another printer for general use. My other printer ran out of ink, so I decided to try this one for a normal text document. After a couple of minutes it was still printing the first page and I panicked about how much ink it was wasting and stopped it.
The HP website is really useful as well if you have any queries or need any help.

The print quality is excellent. It is easy to change the cartridges. However, there aren't satisfactory guides to feed in the paper - as a consequence the print is often at an an angle to the paper which is more than a little annoying - it has on occaisions taken 20 minutes or so to actually receive a print which is lined up perfectly. When I replace this printer later this year I shall look for a different model.
