    The HP PhotoSmart 7760 is an attractive looking printer that hides a multiple of possibilities. Four years into ownership, the printer is still going strong and is used on a regular basis. The printer isn't as compact as some that are on the market, though for those who have space in their home office, it's a fairly safe choice, though has some disadvantages and advantages, and consumers should weigh these up when making their decision on a purchase.     The printer follows the standard HP layout of input and output trays to the front of the printer with paper taking a U shaped path through the device. There are 2 paper trays, one for A4 and one for 10x15cm (6"x4") paper, however you do have to manually adjust a lever to switch between paper sources. Being a Photosmart printer this printer has a few extra features over an ordinary Deskjet. Firstly the printer supports no less than 2 types of photo cartridge, the first replaces the black cartridge and adds light magenta and light cyan to improve colour photo rendition.     I bought this printer after my old one which i had for many years was starting to become slow and very aweful when running on Windows XP so i saw this on offer in my local computer store and decided to give it a go. For a start, this is a printer made by HP who are very good when it comes to making good quality printers. This is no exception, the speed of printing be it colour or black and white is very quick and is very good quality. The one outstanding thing about this printer is the photo quality.
