To begin, this is a fantastic photo printer with many different features and I highly recommend you purchase it if you want beautiful colour quality photo prints, in a matter of seconds.
So, you get it out the box and set it up by plugging in the power supply and connecting the printer to the PC via USB Cable (This is not included in the bundle, which is a little off, considering you need it to hook it up to your PC and get use out of it). So, after plugging it in and finding a place for it, you install the HP Photosmart software which comes with the printer bundle obviously. This is done by simply following the on screen instructions. This takes approximatly 20 minutes all in all. Once you have done this, you plug in the ink cartiges (A monkey could do this, it is extremly easy) and your away. I strongly recommend a purchase of the accessory pack wuth the printer which includes 2 extra ink cartiges and 500 sheets of photo paper for £25.
Now, this printer has a very handly little feature which allows you to plug in many different kinds of memory cards straight into the printer, ranging from CF, SD/MMC, XD and MS/DUO and you then simply add the photos from the card into the software and you are ready to print your photos! You select which photos you would like to print and you load the photo paper into the Photo paper tray (The printer has two trays, one for photo paper and one for A4 Paper) and you then select which options you would like to apply to the photos (Quality, Size etc) and press Print and your away! Wait for 20-30 seconds and you have fantastic quality colour prints which are much better quality than you would get from a printer in the shops. What you might want to do is wait for 30 seconds or so to let the photo dry off a little before handling it.
Now thats not all this little gadget can do, it also doubles as a conventional printer, meaning you can use it to print standard A4 documents as well! Very handy!
And theres more! You can also use it to print Artwork onto your CDs/DVDs (You must first purchase printable CDs/DVDs, you cannot print onto a conventional blank CD/DVD), you can select options such as Text, Design, Size of design etc, you can even print your own photos onto the Cds/DVDs.
Overall, I would highly recommend this fantastic gadget for all your printing needs (The price is well worth it!!!)
