HP are one of the leading printer manufactures in the UK at the moment, this is simple because their printers not only offer great quality of print but they also offer anyone printers for any needs which targets the whole of the printer market out there.
The HP PhotoSmart D7360 touch screen is an quite large 86mm in size. This offers the ability to view photos on a great quality colour screen and the ability to even edit them too before you press that print button. The touch screen offers many buttons to change the pictures appearance and layout and there is still 7 actual buttons for various things on the printer itself. The screen folds up and down for easy storage and so that it doesn’t get damaged when its not in use.
On the right hand side of the buttons and the screen are the memory card slots. There’s four card slots in total which can handle SD/MM, CompactFlash, Memory Stick and xD cards. Also below this is an PictBridge port which means direct photo printing from your digital cameras which is a fantastic features to have on a printer.
The design of this model is quite a nice shiny curved shape. It looks cool and nice modern white and silver colours are used together to give a nice sleek finish. The paper trays are both at the bottom meaning there’s no ugly load of paper sticking out of the top of the printer all the time. Instead it is hidden at the bottom of the printer, even though some of the tray still sticks out it still looks a lot better than having a paper tray at the top of the printer.
There’s actually six cartridges for this one, and the only bad thing about HP cartridges are there quite expensive. Looking on eBay though the cheapest I have found all these six for is about £25 altogether. Which isn’t that bad as it works out at around £4 per cartridge which will last you quite along time, especially if you don’t really print much things off.
The actual print quality for this printer is really good and even though I was expecting quite a good print from this one, seen as it is a photosmart printer it did actually surprise me a little. There is also two technologies already built into the printer which help get those better quality pictures. There’s the automatic red eye, this does what it says really and detects red eye shots and changes them. Then there’s adaptive lighting which is a really good feature, it actually detects dark patches of light and shading and increases the light to give a better quality of print and eliminated shadows.
Its also very fast for a printer, it can print 32 pages of black draft in a minute which is good even for an office laser printer. Colour draft, which is still quite good quality can be printer at a very speedy 31 pages per minute. And a normal photograph can be printer at 3 a minute which is just 20 seconds for a great photo quality print.
This is a really good printer, for me though the ink cartridge cost would just be too much so it would be one of those id just use for photos and then save ink by using a normal printer for other documents. Its print quality is fantastic and its speeds are up at the top, even compared to some top laser printers.

The instructions were easy to follow and once read through were generally straight forward and more of following the instructions on the screen.
It is also very convienient to use, very simple and efficient.
Printing and viewing printers is very simple and the small screen on top of the printer makes what you are printing clearer and helpful.
