Even with the red eye flash on, I still get red eyes, but the pics are otherwise very clear. The camera is very easy to use, excellent flash for dark clubs or night life. I would recommend this despite the red eye, but get a protective case. Those b-stards will give you hell about replacing. They really should include a case or at least emphasize how important it is.

Quick review of HP PhotoSmart E327
I picked this camera up from Misco - £25 including VAT. Intending to give it as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old to replace a Fisher-Price 35mm. The HP was less than half the cost of the Fisher-Price digital I had been looking at for over a year. Not binocular? Who needs that when you have a screen? Anyway the viewfinder lens on the old F-P film camera was scratched to death within weeks. Not as rugged? Add a kiddie camera style non-strangle safety strap to stop drops. Tried it out my self - WOW! Thank heavens I bought 2 of them in case of breakage on Christmas day causing emotional meltdown! Lighter than I'm used to, but excellent controls, good picture quality. My new 2nd camera! ...

Advantages: Good clear pictures, very easy to use, large screen, no shutter delay Disadvantages: No case, only take 18 pics of 5mp quality
The E327 takes good quality pictures which are very clear. It is your typical point and shoot and is very easy to use. Pictures even in practical darkness come out well.
It doesn't have an annoying shutter delay which I used to hate about my old camera!
A couple of disadvantages are that it doesn't come with a case and it eats batterys which is true of most digital cameras! I use energizer ones which last well.
It has a zoom which I don't normally ... ...There is only room for 18 pics of 5mp quality on the camera as it doesn't come with a memory card but these can be bought for quite cheap now, I got mine for £11. You can lower the mp so more pictures can be stored on the camera at once.
If you want a camera that takes excellent pictures and is easy and cheap then buy this one. ...

Advantages: Amazing pictures with photosmart technology, stupendously cheap Disadvantages: no gripes
I like to buy cheap digital cameras and throw them away when they get worn and torn. Not at all enviromentally friendly but who cares eh! So i brought this camera because i was told that it was good and it had the features that i was looking for in a camera, namely clear pictures, a good zoom function and at least 5 megapixels. The 1.8 inch LCD screen was also a big draw with very clear pictures. Plus the Photosmart software seemed to be a nice addition ... ...The best thing for me is the photosmart software that allows me to be creative, editing, organising and sharing digital photos. Its very easy to use and is a great feature of this range of cameras. The camera itself is a compact design that you can hold one-handed, this is helped by the button configuration which allows for one-handed shots to be taken. Pictures themselves are of beautiful quality and can be enlarged up to poster size for those special ...

Advantages: easy to use, able to record mini clips of films can upload to computer Disadvantages: takes normal batteries so runs out quickly
Found it easy to use and able to upload to the computer with ease. takes around 14 pics with out a memory card, i now can store up to 277, but that depends on the card you buy. Good camera if you're not that interested in photography and the pics are still great quality. zoom is strange though as you only see the effect of zoom after you take he picture... but you can always delete it if you don't like it. the menu options easy to follow and manual ...
