HP Photo SmartE427 is the most simple digital photo camera I have ever had. But about everything - from the very beginning. When I took camera and it box - it seemed to be really light. I thought, that even though box size is a like a half of "Cornflakes" pack, but there is nothing inside, cause it weights not more than few hundreds of grams. When I opened it, I even started to laugh - photo camera is really small 9,5x5,5x3cm in dimensions. It has two AA batteries, informative user guide and wires for connection it to PC. Of course it is a bit disappointing when you realize that it has only 32MB memory inside, but you can ad any SD card up to one GB. That was the first move I did. And I am happy - I can take up to 1000 really good quality pictures or make movie of an hour. From the very beginning I am enjoying its design - what can be better than just ONE sliding part? It is small, so sometimes it can happen so, that you are going to drop it. Never mind - nothing else than few scratches can be found. Its focus glass is perfectly hidden, so everything is safe. As I mentioned it before - it is really light, so you can carry it comfortably in hand without feeling that it is there. Technical side. Camera has just 6 buttons -"Make photo"- for taking photos, "Recycle bin" - for deleting photos or videos, Photo/Preview regime for switching between photo preview and photo making regime, and four in one - "Up", "Down", "Left", "Right". Camera is turned on, by moving it's only sliding part - objective saver. It turns on, and you are able to make photos - almost all settings are chosen automatically, so for amateur user it is more than enough. You can get 6.0 Mega pixels photos whenever you want - at sunset, at night or to have beautiful view of scenery. What I didn't like - that's settings. If you chose your own settings - you can use them just until you switch your camera off. After switching it on again, you have to chose those settings again. But what is good thing - its batteries saving regime. If camera is turned on for a while, and you are not making photos - LCD screen turns of, but at the very moment you need to take photo, you press "Make photo" button, and LCD screen wakes up, and what is more, photo is being made at the same moment - you do not need to wait. In one sentence - perfect camera for not professional use. It is always in my bag, so when I find something attractive, I take it out, and make photos.
