Full review
I bought this camera from Comet a few months ago for £199.00, for that I got the hp photosmart R707digital camera with hp instant share. hp photosmart R07 rechargeable lithium ion battery, hp photosmart 3.3v AC adapter, USB cable for connecting camera to PC. USB cable for connecting camera to printer, user manualm user's manual on CD, CD with hp image zone software for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh, hp memories disc creator, and ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3.5. and a wrist strap.

I was easy to get started and learn how to use the basics, so you can start clicking away taking your photos. the photos come out very clear - though sometimes its hard to get the lighting right with the auto flash, which can make the photo come out a little dark. To get the most out of it you really do need to read the instructions and follow their direction. If you don't you will end up like I did having a few photos that require a little more lighting.

It has a green square that says you are ok to take the photo, this appears in your view finder, if this square is red then you are out of focus.

NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL STUFF.

5.1 MP resolution
24 x total zoom
- 3 x optical zoom
- 8 x digitial zoom
32 mb internal memory
1.5 inch colour, outdoor viewable LCD
USB connectivity (compatible with USB 2.0 Specifications)
SD/MMC card slot
hp adaptive lighting technology
hp-exclusive photo features
auto focus, auto exposure, auto flash, plus manual controls for more creativity.

When you get everything right for your photograph, they come out crisp and sharp.

One little awkward thing I found is replacing the battery, it has a tiny clip that comes over it to keep it in place - it is a little cumbersome when you come to change the battery as you have to push the little clip back to get the battery in and out.

I have bought some accessories to go with my camera, bought these separately from hp web site as I couldn't get them at the shop. the travel charging kit is great, it is small and compact and does a quick charge on your batteries, great for when going on holiday and takes up considerably less space than the 3.3V AC adapter that comes with the camera. Also brought the docking station which enables you to upload pictures onto your tv or your computer - got this for the tv- have not had time to use it yet as I have to use the adapter that came with the camera - as no mains cable came with that. So will report on that once I've had the chance to try it out.

Hope this helps - if you do get one, I don't think you will be disappointed as I am really pleased with the pictures off mine. plus it also has an in-camera red-eye removal so know of those ruined photos due to red eye.
