What can I say about this camera apart from great. I have been umming and arring about getting this nifty looking camera until I saw it in a shop on offer, so I jumped at the chance.
When you open the box you are greeted to this trendy looking silver camera with is slim and lightweight.
This camera is 6.2 mp with 3 optical zoom which has a 2.5" (6.4cm) good quality screen. You dont get a memory card with this camera but it does have 36 MB of internal memory which holds, about 16 pictures. However you can buy a memory cards which start at about £10 - make sure they are SD cards ive just bought a 512MB SD fcard or £9.99 and this has now upped my total photos to 367. The software for your computer is very simple to install.
Once you have taken your pictures there are different facilities to view them by pressing a simple button - you can either see them one at a time with you manually scrolling through them or you can opt to see them by slide show. Erasing pictures is by the touch of one button when you can either delete one picture at a time or you can erase the whole lot - dont panic if you press to erase the whole lot it does ask you if youre sure you want to do this. There is also a motion camera on there, with my 512 MB card I can film for 10 min 53 seconds which is pretty good.
It is very easy to use and it wont take you long until you know where all the features are, if you do get stuck the instruction book is very helpful. The flash seems to be very effective and quick responding. Couple things that seem to let the camera down is, if you use the camera indoores without the flash the response time is very slow which is frustrating because the picture you get isnt the picture you took. Another minor thing is that the lens is in the top left of the camera and I know that I have the tendency to put my finger over this - at keast you can see it on the clear display.
Along the top of the camera are easily accessible buttons which change different aspects of the camera. We have a flash button - yhis will help you change between auto flash, normal flash or no flash. Another button along the top is is for the focus - we have auto focus, close up focus, auto close up focus and a focus for distant objects. There is also the facility to order prints from the camera via Photosmart online printing service - this is completed when you plug the camera into computer.
All in all the camera is good value if you want one to carry round with you.
