A good value paper + ink package

Advantages: Low price, official cartridges, decent photography paper
Disadvantages: Paper isn't intended for everyday printing

Usually when I need to get more paper or cartridges I buy them separately, as they never seem to run out at the same time. This time, however, they ran out simultaneously, and I found this pack to buy, which beat the combined price of other options I could find. The cartridges are entirely standard, but if anything appeared to last a little longer than the non-HP ones I bought last time. It was not made clear when I bought it that the enclosed paper is photography paper, so I had to buy more paper to use for everyday printing tasks. For my photographs, however, the included paper was of very good standard, and I would be happy to show off my photos on it. If you need to buy paper and ink together, this is a good package, assuming you own a compatible printer. However, if you want thin paper for everyday printing, you'd be better off ...

HP 350XL print cartridge is good value for money

Advantages: very long lasting, high quality ink
Disadvantages: the initial cost is more than a regular sized cartridge

In my opinion the HP 350XL print cartridge is good value for money. It provides a high quality print everytime on a variety of different papers and lasts a really long time. I definately think it is worth while buying the XL cartridges as they work out cheaper in the long run. I bought this product when printing my dissertation at university and despite the fact that it was over 200 pages long and i had to make 2 copies the cartridge lasted the whole time as well as having some ink left over. The ink was also quick drying so it was very smudge resistant even on glossy paper. I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of buying a black ink cartridge for their HP printer. ...

HP45 Print Cartridge

Advantages: Print quality, ease of use
Disadvantages: Too expensive

This print cartridge is designed for use with the Hewlett Packard P 700, 800, 900 and 1100 series of Deskjet printers. We have a couple of 840C printers at my work place and we get through a fair amount of these HP45 cartridges! The HP45 is a black ink cartridge with a 42ml capacity. The lifespan on this cartridge will vary greatly according to the printing mode and resolution used on the printer. This toner will retail at around the £20-£22 mark depending on which supplier you use. The cartridge comes in a small cardboard package.
