Our computer went bang so we had to buy a new PC, As our scanner was on its way out anyway we were offered an half price printer, I really didn’t fancy an HP again as their inks are quite expensive and our last printer only lasted 14 months, but after a quick demonstration from the sales rep I was somewhat impressed with HP’s improvement with technology.
You can print off photos, copy and scan or read and delete your camera cards without switching your pc on. Just follow the instructions on small coloured LCD screen on the printer (approx 6cm long by 4cm width).
DISADVANTAGES
Uses a lot of ink and can prove expensive if want to use the printer to print out photos
PRODUCT INFORMATION

EASY TO USE
When you first switch on your printer you see ‘Welcome to Photosmart Express’ you can insert memory card to print photos with no computer. If you press ok you have 4 options on the screen
View and print (select photos to print) Reprint (reprint photo originals) Save (save photos on computer) Share (lets you email to others)
This is useful if you are in a rush and want to quickly look at your photos on screen with out using your camera battery or switching on your PC.
The other buttons on the printer are
Preview (lets you preview your copy) Set Up menu (as mentioned with options) Help (Gives limited information on printer) Cancel (Cancel everything)
Photosmart Express – takes you back to original 4 on a screen options Photofix (Gives you the option to switch on or off) Reprints (lets you reprint) Print photos Scan Menu (gives you options to scan and reprint or scan to memory card along with other scan options Start scan – (Start your scan)
Copy Menu – (with more options such as copies, size, quality etc) Black (copy’s your scan in black) Colour (copy’s your scan in colour)
This all in one printer is so easy to use you don’t even need the instructions to use, comes complete with Photo express package on your pc so you can modify, change and fix photos etc. I have only had a quick look at it and not really used it so I can’t give you an opinion. Print quality I think its ok or pretty good but again I am comparing this to my old HP printer. I’ve only printed half a dozen A4 photos but I think it is expensive to use as a photo printer compared to taking your card into Boots and printing them off there for pence per photo.
