HP Printer Paper All-in-One

Advantages: Great value for money, easy to use, prints out quickly, nice clear and sharp images
Disadvantages: The colour ink does not last all that long

...I bought this printer only recently and I was lucky enough to get this on sale in clas ohlson for just £18 but you have to buy the USB cable separately and I bought mine for £6. Ever since I bought this great HP DeskJet all in one printer about 2 weeks ago I have not stopped using it. It has and does everything you could possibly ask for in a printer. When I first purchased this printer it came with both black and colour ink so I was well chuffed especially as I know that the colour inks can be a bit dear. I like the fact that the printer can multitask, print, scan and do photocopy. The installation process took only about 15 minutes to install and the process was really quite straight forward along with the help of the easy to follow instructions that is provided. It loads up to 100 sheets input of papers and has 50 sheets output. It can also load 10 envelopes as well as thick glossy photo papers and postcards Printing with Hewlett-Packard F2290 All-in-One creates a little sound but it is not a sound coming from the printer itself. It is due to the friction of the moving paper against the printer and it is not really a big issue for me. Hewlett-Packard F2290 All-in-One delivers excellent prints. As a Scanner Hewlett-Packard F2290 All-in-One has a scanner feature. It uses CIS Scan Element. Advantages: 3 in 1, stand alone photo copier
Disadvantages: scanner lid doesnt have floating hinges

...already had a scanner but space is limited in my room so I decided to buy an all in one, such a good idea. I looked around at a lot of scanners, my budget was £100, which this was. The printer is very good quality and comes with HP software for photo printing, editing and scanning. The scanner has good OCR text recognition much better than my old scanner; there are very few random symbols where letter aren't recognised. The only problem is that the lid hinge is fixed, hence it only close fully with a few sheets of paper in. I print most documents in normal mode 600dpi, and rough work in fast normal 300dpi both give good quality printing. The copier means you don't need to turn your computer on, plus no need to go to the effort of scanning and printing in a suitable resolution as this is done automatically. A good replacement...
