ML350 *brilliant*

Advantages: Lots of storage great upgrade capacity.
Disadvantages: requires a professional to install correctly

HP ML350 are very very excellent servers. these machines are very reliable and very fast, and widely used in many businesses across the UK they tend to run best with Windows SBS loaded as the operating system. with 5 hard drive bays you can have more than enough storage space for your company use. so you could have a maximum storage capacity of 5TB if you required it. Dual intel Xeon capability. Maximum RAM of 32GB if the G5 version of the ML350 is purchased. there is also the opton of installing a redundant Power supply into the server, it is a very good idea to purchase a redundant Power supply, this will keep your seerver Powered from a different wall socket if you primary Power supply should fail. also with a onboard RAID controller allowing the user to setup redundancy on there data which comes in handy if ...

Advantages: Lots of resource, processor power and expansion
Disadvantages: Price and extras needed.

Fantastic performance , flawless reliability and reassuringly pricey is a good way to describe one of our Proliant ML370 servers here in the office. If you need your server to deliver cutting edge technology with bulletproof backup, this is a must for any self respecting IT guy. The Proliant range from HP has been around for a few years but the latest generation takes advantage of shrinking sized parts and components and power saving methods to evolve an already successful product. We have both the G5 and G4 models of this server and the main obvious change is the disk size. The hard disks (and it can take up to 8 of them) and the newer slimline serial SCSI type rather than the Ultra SCSI in the G4. Faster and with the same lightning response time, they obviously draw less power resouce from your server and power supply ...
