...an extra £9.99 charge to be eligible for it. I studied the Currys guarantee sheet, agreed and signed, eventually paying a total sum of £39.98. At this point, it was mission accomplished with respect to finding the best substitute for my broken, 'HP PSC 1315' that displays similar all-in-one functions but is comparatively expensive. I returned home from Chingford to Leytonstone, via bus routes 158 and 58, carrying the relatively light, but otherwise, LARGE and AWKWARD, HP F380 package in a giant, shopping bag.

...model was definitely a much better buy. And the computer with the most "bang" – at least on paper, anyway – was the Compaq Presario 5004US. After discussing different models with the salesman for 30 minutes, and weighing my options for nearly another hour, I paid the man $1,149 and eagerly walked out with my new "screamer."

Until recently disaster recovery has been a lengthy, time-consuming process of locating operating system (OS) disks, application disks, backup tapes, and configuration details.
The new Hewlett Packard SureStore DAT40e could be an answer to those prayers, for its much-touted industry first, one-button disaster recovery (OBDR), a clever system which fools your server into thinking the tape back up drive is really a bootable CD-ROM drive.
Booting from a tape drive is not new. In fact, most dedicated UNIX workstations are able...
