Overall excellent scanner with easy to use software. If it is high end photo editing you are after then HP Image zone is not the one for you, but it will easily cope with the basic demands of a family photo album.

Problematic to install and less sturdy built than sellers would have you believe. I wonder whether the first reviewer was a HP employee because the review see far too well written and complimentary. Eventually I got the scanner working but the quality of slide scans was below average. This was the main reason I bought the scanner and therefore it is disappointing. ...
