The facility the that I personally use is the panoramic photo stitch feature. It allows you to take a number of photos and stitch them into one photo, the package is very clever and matches the images perfectly.
Overall excellent scanner with easy to use software. If it is high end photo editing you are after then HP Image zone is not the one for you, but it will easily cope with the basic demands of a family photo album.
