Most scanner manufacturers only want you to consider resolution (dpi) and bit-depth when comparing scanners, but what do those numbers really mean to you? ...I was looking for a new top of the range scanner, to go along with my HpP1000 photo smart printer, so I needed one at a good price, but which had great quality scanning, and I found it. Everyone knows that Hp can be a bit pricey, but for around £130, this has to be worth it.
It has a max resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi (dots per inch), and this is ideal for enlarging pics and still keeping the quality in the picture. It is quick and as you can save the pics as jpegs, and other file types, it does'nt use alot of space on your hard drive.
When loading a pictuer, you also have many functions, ranging from resolution, colour quality, lighting, and inlaging or decreasing the picture size.
The scanner is slightly larger than the average flat bed scanner, but it is very user friendly, and has 4 short cut buttons on the front of it...

the one touch buttons on the scanners body also make quick scanning easy and practical.
