This you see has been a scanner that has outlived the desire to upgrade. Sure, things have got smaller, thinner, great ways of side opening and even printer integration but this 5100C is still being used regularly and the results are still pleasing.

They produce huge images that are impossible to manipulate and take up about five screens in size unless you reduce them. In addition the file sizes make the pargest of hard drives look like a tasty appetiser. Nope, lower resolution scanning has always been my choice and no doubt will continue to be for some time.
