Ok well im about to start a review on something that I never thought I would rave about. Its a Scanner! They have been out for ages, they were very usefull in the past but for years now I could do with out them. Once I stored all my old family photos in and saved them to Disk I got rid of my Scanner because I never used it after that.
Well Recently at work we have been working on a project. For obvious Reasons I cant say what it is, but all the drawings and instruction manuals and Schedules were all on old bits of paper, the best part of thirty years old. There were litterally 100s of 1000s of pages, nothing on computer just all Paperwork. There was only one copy of everything. The boss decided to invest in a scanner that could cope with all this paperwork and get the copies on PC. He bought this, hence why Im writing about it.
We ordered it from Misco, One of the Suppliers we use from work for £617.23. It came next day delivery. It was well packed as you might expect from something of that price tab.
Instructions were very easy to understand, Set up in within an hour and had our first few pages uploaded onto PC.
The great thing about this Scanner is that it offers fast and high-quality scans, but not only that it scans but you dont have to manual scan each page. It has an integrated automatic 50 sheet feeder. All we had to do was Put 50 pages in at a time in the feeder and it would scan them and store them into the PC. This saved lots of time for us as we didnt have to stand around swapping pages and scanning individual Sheets. You can also use the flexible positionable cover on the scanner for books and files.
This is a great scanner and Im sure I will be using it alot more at work, I might even scan a few documents I have from home to. I definatly recommend this to Adminastration Companies and to companies who have lots of old paperwork they want to back up.
