flat bed scanners can be a joy or a nightmare when used. they can brilliantly pick out all the detail on your picture or ruin it with producing foldmarks when laid for processing. consider the use of white or black backing sheets when dealing with small pictures or 2 pictures in a group. when combining two letters into one make sure you have cut and pasted to be made 'invisable before printing'. the item is easily understood and instructions are simple. it would be an asset to any pc home suite. Printing is not slow compared to some scanners. However, as with all machines patience is a virtue and a vision of the finished product is also helpful. Try printing coloured artwork as a test printing sample.
