Advantages: Takes 6 disks in a 2U package
Disadvantages: Not a great deal

...which allows you to have Raid1 or raid 5 arrays using the 6 internal hot plug disk slots. ********** Manageability************* HP have a device called the Integrated Lights-Out Standard, this is a device that is integrated into the server and allows you to power off and restart the server as if you were stood in front of it, you can also watch and interact with the boot sequence, load virtual CD's and Floppy disks into the server from anywhere. With the purchase of an additional licence the ILO can provide keyboard and mouse interaction when the operating system has loaded, so you can be truely stood at the server keyboard from 1000's of miles away. ...At over £300 the HP S20 is not a cheap photo scanner but if it is quality and reliability you are after I would certainly recommend this machine. It can scan mounted slides, positive strips, negatives and 35 mm positive film (photograph size up to 13 cm by 18 cm). There is very little noise during operation. Installation could not be simpler through the USB interface and the my machine came complete with S20 scanning software and MS picture IT99 software. What I especially like is the control the operator has over the whole imaging process.... Read review
