...The HP dx2300 has a 1.8ghz processor and has two 512mb memory chips which makes the overall RAM over 1gb with a possible expansion up to 4gb. The hard drive is a decent size as well as it has 80gb of space. The operating system is windows xp which is ok but won't be able to keep up with vista soon! It also comes with a one year warranty. The HP dx2300 is an ideal business class desktop that is full-featured and value-priced. Featuring the power of an Intel processor and ample RAM, the dx2300 gives you all the strength you need to power through the toughest applications. A large hard drive gives you ample room to store all your important files. The micro tower also gives you excellent expandability in a compact form factor. Advantages: Great price, picture printing quality Disadvantages: Steep prices for replacement ink cartridges.
...I just bought a new digital camera knowing that I would need a way to get the pictures off my computer. The easiest solution to that was for our family to get a printer. I did some research and found that the HP 5550 would suit our needs just fine.
There are so many pro's for the HP 5550 that I need to just make a list so it's easier to understand. Here goes:
1. The price of the printer. It was only 149.99.
2. The fantastic resolution quality. I get 4800x1200 dpi maximum resolution.
3. Both parallel and USB ports.
4. 8 MB of buffer memory. For those big documents that have tons of pages.
5. Convenient size of the printer.
6. The fact that it is HP and they have fantastic customer support.
7. Duplex ability.
8. 100 input tray and 50 page output tray.
There are however a few cons to the HP 5550 that I have found as well:
