Providing long term, cost-effective, archival storage is what the HP StorageWorks Optical Jukebox family of products delivers. These jukeboxes, with 30 GB Ultra Density Optical (UDO) drives, are able to provide a storage capacity to meet most any need. Starting with a standalone desktop box at 30 GB all the way up to the largest jukebox with 7.1 TB of capacity, these jukeboxes come with differing number of slots for disks as well as drives. Customers can purchase an entry-level unit and at a later time increase the capacity or the number of drives, providing investment protection. These products can help round out any corporations need for Information Lifecycle Management by providing archival portion for those records that are either less frequently accessed or need to be kept for regulatory or audit purposes.

Advantages: Up and running in under a minute Disadvantages: Not the fastest, (but then what do you expect)
...That's the manufacturers claim for this industry first product and it's true. Just plug in the drive to an available USB port, install the drivers and software and your away, it could not be easier.
The HP family of DAT (DDS) drives is now in to it's 5th generation, and the reliability and performance has grown with each new model.
The big disadvantage of the previous offerings was the need to invest in costly SCSI cards and cables, but this fabulous product very cleverly brings an industry standard product in to the reach of the serious home user and small business user.
If you have ever suffered a system crash and lost critical or valuable data, you will know the heart sinking feeling of realising you've lost everything, and that sense of "Why didn't I back it up?"...... Well no more excuses, not only does this drive provide...

.... To be sure only for right hands only...the three freely keys has and in the middle a Scrollweel. The keys are silver-grey and the cover also Anthrazitcoloured.
As a system, at least windows 95 is needed. The interfaces are HP/and 2 USB connections. Power supply runs over 4 (keyboard) and/or 2 (mice) LR6-Batterien (1,5 volts apiece) and hold at the mouse ca. 2 months and in the keyboard ca. 1 year. Result to the optically brilliant team: I desired would have I that ca. To buy 150 Euro once remaining around me this gem. He who would like to buy himself in next time a new keyboard or mouse, once should more exactly look at this package. I had work is problems therewith in that never. goods, it somewhat new. But who the functions out its light joy will have have!
