...I have had my cdwriter now for a while and payed £123 for it, so far it has given me no problems at all. It is a 4 speed writer, 4 speed rewrite and 24 speed read which makes it affordable and have good speeds. It came with Adaptec software and 2 other free CD`s with a labeling program on and the other with a music creator on, I also recived 2 blank cd`s which were a HP CDR and a HP CDRW from which have both come in handy.I have found that the CD Writer is a cheap and fast way to back up your computer....

Advantages: Prints on both sides automatically also alings catridges on it's own and is very quiet to operates Disadvantages: Cost of 38ml colour catridge and the speed with which it uses up the ink, even on the lowest setting
...I have always stuck with HP when it comes to printers and was glad to move up to the HP 970cxi. I had visions of cutting costs due to the printer being able to print on both sides of a sheet of A4, which is done automatically. First one side is printed then the sheet is drawn back in and the other side is then printed.
It has a really good feature when it comes to changing ink catridges, in that the printer with the aid of an optical device aligns the catridges automatically. Remember those frustrating days when you had to decide what line was the straightest, well you do not have to bother about this anymore.
The printer is very quiet while printing and can hardly be heard. The quality of both text and photos is excellent, and you have many features that are very easy to setup and adjust. Even the amount of ink that is used can...

...The HP ScanJet 8300 is a Professional Image Scanner from HP's Scan jet series. This is one of the top end Scanners HP manufacture and is ideal for the business domain. There is also an 8300gp model of this scanner which is a Graphic Arts scanner and has a monitor color-meter calibrator as a added feature ideal for graphic designers.
Now about the HP ScanJet 8300, the scanner has an OR (Optical Resolution) of 4800x4800dpi and will scan high dynamic range in 48bit colour. This is fine for transparency and negative scanning.
The scanner has a max reflection area of around A4 size. HP includes film holders which will hold 3 strips, 6 frames of a 35mm film. The holders can be placed in the base of the scanner for storage.
The ScanJet 8300 is supplied with HP's own photosmart software. I wasn't impressed with the scan pro scanning. It has...
