HP thin client - thin, sleek, sexy

Advantages: quick, small, lightweight, reasonably cheap
Disadvantages: compatability issues

I've just upgraded 4 machines at work, to the HP thin client, for improved connectivity, and also for space issues. The PC's themselves are a doddle to fix up, taking possibly a max of 15-20mins from start to finish. The thin client has a nice built in speaker and an abundance of USB ports, which should satisfy most users (6 ports in all, 2 front, 4 back) Bootup speed on these machines is good too, from powering on, i would estimate that it takes 20 seconds to reach the network logon screen on our machines, which is a lot faster than our old machines, which would usually take between 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 mins, then go through a dual login (login to the pc itself, then login to the remote desktop connection) whereas the thin client is set to autoload the login for the remote desktop connection. The downside to these machines, which we did ...

Review of HP Compaq Thin Client T5530

HP Pavilion dv6

Advantages: Slick, lightweight design; good performance; built-in webcam;
Disadvantages: Low battery life, glossy display can be reflective

thought 1280×800 was a good resolution to use for a 15.4â?³ screen. My only complaint with the screen is that the glare is really bad when trying to use the unit outside. It gets so bed you might as well look at a mirror with a dark background This unit uses AMD rather than Intel meaning that it generates more heat. the performance of this notebook is quite good. It actually opens many apps much faster than my desktop PC, which is using an Intel Pentium dual core. So, there are no complaints about speed, but, it does generate a lot of heat heat. The HP Pavilion DV6 is a really nice, solid laptop and you really can?t go wrong with it. The price makes it very affordable. The unit has a nice, sleek design and good all-around performance. It also offers a solid balance of features which really makes this laptop usable as a desktop ...

Review of HP Pavilion dv6

* I Have A Thin One! *

Advantages: Stops the craving, only 100 calories, a small chocolate hit.
Disadvantages: Can't find them anywhere!

, except they are half as thick. (Hence the THIN name). The point of this chocolate is to taste the same on the lips but NOT spend a lifetime on the hips. Because it is half the size of a normal bar it also holds less then half the amount of calories. 100 calories and 8g of fat. A big difference to the full size bar! So I know what you're thinking.... Hmmmm it has to be lacking in something! Well not really. When you first unwrap the packaging the bar looks almost the same as the old Cadbury Animal Bars. (If you remember them, they were always in selection boxes at Christmas, very thin, square bars aimed at children, but I haven't seen them in years!). The thin bar has four large flat squares for you to enjoy and it looks quite delicate. When you pull a bit off it makes a fairly loud snap sound, which shows you just how thin the bars are ...
