Advantages: Great support for Windows 7 and Multitouch functionality. Disadvantages: A little pricey in comparrison to standard machines.
...As a developer interested in writing multi touch applications for Windows using Windows Presenetation Foundation and Silverlight I was keen to explore the touch capabilities of this laptop which I boiught shortly after its' release. At first the multitouch support was poor, (and was even worse under early beta versions of Windows 7). However, the drivers have improved beyond measure and I now run the machine under Windows 7 (64bit release candidate) and use it as my primary development platform for both Silverlight (2/3) and WPF development.
The laptop functions on a number of different levels: 1. As a standard laptop (it performs admirably). 2. As a Tablet PC (its' stylus/pen is excellent allowing you to rest your hand on the screen as you write - which feels intuitive and comfortable). 3. As a Multi-Touch device (the TX2...

Advantages: Very Sleek, Full Of Extras And No Unsightly Wiring Everywhere Disadvantages: Inefficient Cooling Due To Sleek Case, Possible unreliability Due To High Operating Temperatures

This pc will sit quite comfortably at a CPU temperature of 64*c and a GPU temp 54*c. personally i wouldn't expect to see this high...

Advantages: ease of use, excellent specifications and touchscreen technology Disadvantages: touchscreen can be problematic when using screens with various options closely together
...accessing and sharing photos with others. You can alternate images and access folders at ease using the HP Touchsmart technology which is brilliant.
It's also ideal for those who are seeking to use the system for gaming. Having the touch screen capability makes gaming for engaging and innovative.
One thing I REALLY love about the system is that you need only one cable to use it! My main problem is a lack of power outlets but this system needs only one and you're up and ready to go!
Both the keyboard and mouse are wireless which means you can utilise the system from the other side of the room without any problems. The Bluetooth and WiFi technologies also contribute to the excellency of this system.
The workability of the central inner system is also excellent. With a speedy Core 2 Duo Processor working alongside a mighty 4 GB RAM with 500...
