I would rather have the comfort of a full size one. The mouse worked straight out of the box, no problems. The resolution is good and the action of the buttons is also good. The biggest complaint I have is that it does not seem to have a great range. If I use the USB port at the rear left of my computer, I cannot use the mouse on the right hand side of the mouse mat. Using a USB port on the right of the computer fixes this, but I like to keep these for other accessories.
