Logitech wireless Mouse M305 - a great replacement for a dud

Advantages: wireless with more freedom, responsive, comfortable.
Disadvantages: more expensive than a wired mouse.

In November 2009 I bought a Logitech M305 wireless mouse, which cost £19.99 at Currys. General information Logitech was founded in 1981 in Switzerland and is a world leader in mice. The M305 wireless mouse is designed for use with laptops and is very comfortable in the hand. It looks the same as the picture you can see on ciao website i.e. grey colour with black feature. However if you visit Logitech?s website you can see it?s available in 7 colours. I would describe the size as standard for a laptop mouse. It has a two-button design with a single scroll wheel in-between. However the palm rest is a little taller and more arched than most mice on the market. The package is the size of a small book and easy to open. It contains a wireless mouse, a nano-receiver, an AA battery and a quick start guide. How to start using it ...

Review of Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 - mouse

HP Wireless Laser Mini Mouse

Advantages: None, over a standard optical mouse.
Disadvantages: Short operating range

I bought this mouse because I needed a mouse urgently and this was the only one available with a known name. Realistically, how much space do you save in a laptop bag by buying a small mouse? I would rather have the comfort of a full size one. The mouse worked straight out of the box, no problems. The resolution is good and the action of the buttons is also good. The biggest complaint I have is that it does not seem to have a great range. If I use the USB port at the rear left of my computer, I cannot use the mouse on the right hand side of the mouse mat. Using a USB port on the right of the computer fixes this, but I like to keep these for other accessories. ...

Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse

Advantages: Almost brilliant design, looks great.
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited programming for buttons.

(This review is written having tested the hardware on Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista) This year, I purchased my first Apple computer. Deciding to go for the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer. From their website, Apple include either the wired or wireless Mighty Mouse with the purchase, the Wireless option being a £13.99 upgrade option, but no option to get the computer without the mouse. Because I have so many computer mice lying around, I was torn between selling the default (wired) Mighty Mouse when the computer arrived, or upgrading to the Wireless option and keeping it, I have far too many cables for electronics to want to add more wires, so I decided I would purchase all of the wireless options with the iMac, but paying extra money for something I didn't particularly need was a nuisance. In the end, I decided that ...
