It also charges from the mains and USB at the same time when its on the docking station so thats helpfull. ...on the front which ensures that nobody but me can access the device as everything is encrypted unti l i slide my finger down the front.
There are lots of applications that can be bought or downloaded and installed via activesync to make additions to the device.

One great feature is the biometric scanner on the front which ensures that nobody but me can access the device as everything is encrypted unti l i slide my finger down the front.
There are lots of applications that can be bought or downloaded and installed via activesync to make additions to the device.
Ive got to say, one of the biggest advantages of this device is the battery life, even though i have the device set to power off after five minutes of inactivity, it can last for six hours no problem running skype and other programs using WIFI to revcieve calls and such. The protective cover also ensures that you cannot touch the screen while it is in your pocket and protects it from sharp objects.
Top device, i highly reccomend it for anybody wanting a reliable and very usefull device.
Advantages: Fast and strongly made. Disadvantages: Has some features that are a 'little over the top'.
I was originally going to buy the HX2490 but that model was being changed and wasn't available, also the HX2790 has a faster processor (I understand). I particularly wanted a machine with WiFi and Bluetooth, both these features are very well implemented on this model. Even though I have only had the machine for a week or two I have used Wifi a lot and it is very sensitive receiving hot spots that I couldn't get with my laptop. The screen is very ... ...sunshine (normal use is fine). Early on I accidentally dropped the device and it suffered no ill effects (thank goodness). Personally I have no use for the finger print recognition and I could see this possibly causing problems if it locked the machine and malfunctioned. However in sone circumstances it would no doubt give added security.
Thepaper manual seems a little short on detail but the manual on CD is fine.
Overall I find the HX2790 a great, ...
