HP's iPAQ 114 Classic is amongst one of the newest models released by HP in its completely overhauled range. This new series of PDAs consists of; the 100 & 200 series which are basic PDAs running on Windows Mobile 6.0, the 300 series (which has built in GPS) and the 600 & 900 series which have built in cellular phones and GPS system.
I am reviewing a model which sits in the 100 series.

- Various literature including user ...
Advantages: Easy to use. Disadvantages: None yet. Will update.
I have just joined Ciao community to put the record straight on this PDA. A previous Ciao reviewer has given a negative review. I have only owned the PDA (HPiPaq 214 Enterprise Handheld) for two days. I believe I was one of the first in the UK to receive this machine as it became available from 25th January 2008. I was almost put off buying the iPaq by the other review here, but decided to give it a try. I am glad, as the PDA does everything a PDA should and at a very good speed and price. The other review here is definitely not for the iPaq 214. How did he get it some months before anyone else? The description bears no resemblance to my iPaq 214. The reviewer says the camera is appalling and defunct - it does not have a camera at all, so that clears that up. It does have 128 MB SDRAM and 256MB flash ROM, mine also came with 1GB SD card ...
Advantages: Lots and lots of features, light, durable, easy to use (once you know how). Disadvantages: Can be fiddly, menu's are not always easy to use.
the HP GPS Navigation Kit you can even turn your iPAQ 914 into a Smart Travel Companion with Turn-by-Turn Navigation (no need to buy a TomTom then). And obviously no PDA would be complete without those familiar Windows Mobile® applications for organising your daily life. Something which you may not have thought possible was the inbuilt 3 Mega pixel camera - which can capture pictures or even take videos.
