HP iPAQ Rx4240

The rx4240 offers an excellent introduction to the world of PDA's. It is a multifunctional device, that as a university student I find helps me organise my schedule, as well as watch movies and listen to music. With the inclusion of wifi, I can access my email in campus, and even check out details during lectures. The ability to use it as a bluetooth device allows easy connectivity to my laptop, as well as wireless stereo headphones, which make most of its ability to use upto a 2GB SD card. HP claims that the IPAQ 4240 can print to a Bluetooth printer; this is incorrect. It is incapable of printing to any device with its configuration. If one wishes to print a Note, calendar or other document then they shall find no ability to do so. HP did a desultory job with the wifi on the machine - the browser should be codenamed the "BOWSER" at it is a real dog. Intrenet access is possible but only with extreme patience and the realization that you shall probably return the item or give it to someone you despise. Little good can be said of the product.
