The travel companion is great for people on the move. Its comes complete withsat nav stand for sticking to the window of your car for when its in sat nav mode and also has good charger for socket and car socket that does not fall out if you go round a corner. Oh no, my trusty psion has shuffled off... what now? Being totally unaware of what was available 8 years on, it took some research, but this seemed to be a steal - an HP PDA masquerading as a tom-tom sat nav, for less than either a HP PDA (without tom-tom software), or indeed a tom-tom sat nav! For good measure it has 2gb of memory (loads) and a slot for a standard SD card of up to 2gb. It has met its expectations. From my own personal experience of this product i got confsed when first using it as the instructions were a bit misleading after re-reading the instructions i could see where i had misunderstood it and was able to complete the setup with no problems what so ever. It is easy to store and doesnt weigh to much. It has a variation of applications that you can use on this item and is ideal when travelling long distances. It also has a bluetooth connection so you can transfer data backwards and forwards from the device. Overall i think it is a great product and the simplest of people could use it ... more
