The Printer

I first used the printer to print a page from the official Nintendo website on cheats, and game tips The printout came out in about 10 seconds looking colourful bright and easy to read I was impressed ... ...it prints out quickly so the sound doesn’t last long.
Photo Copier

To Photo copy you have to lift the flap on the front of the Pc put the document in you want to copy press the copy button in put in the number of copies you want then enter very easy to use. The quality was almost identical to the original copy. Wish I could do that with money. ;)

Photo Copier ************** To Photo copy you have to lift the flap on the front of the Pc put the document in you want to copy press the copy button in put in the number of copies you want then enter very easy to use. The quality was almost identical to the original copy. Wish I could do that with money. ;)
Scanner ********* The scanner is similar to the photocopier, lift the flap up and put your document/picture on top and scan it onto you pc. This allows having picture albums on your pc, that you can look at when ever you want.
Print cartridges ***************** I use two cartridges one for colour and ones for black let me tell a little about both.
Hp inkjet print cartridge 57 Tri colour *************************************** I got the print cartridge from Argos it cost £27.99, I think this is cheap as you get towards 400 prints for this, so it’s a good deal. I mainly use the colour for personal stuff. I got the following details off the hp website to give you a little bit more information on the product. Shelf life is 18 months – Dimensions (wxdxh) 140*112*35mm – Weight 54-56 g - Operating temperature range –15 to 35”c. This cartridge is very easy to insert into the pc takes about 2 minutes to takes out the old one and put in the new one.
Hp Inkjet Print Cartridge 56 Black ************************************ I got the print cartridge from Argos it cost £17.99 I thought this was expensive as the color was only 10 pounds more and you only got 450 copies. I mainly use this for business use for letters to customers and documents. I got the following information off the hp website to tell you a little more about the product. Paper ******* The paper I use is xerox performer I got this paper free with the printer was part of the deal they were offering so cant really complain about the price. Ok to the paper it's self, it came in A4 size with 500 sheets of plain white paper for copier and lasers, the paper is of good quality and my printouts always coming out looking professional and shiny.
Quality ******** When it comes down to it, this is what really matters we all want good quality printouts that are readable and both good to look at in business and home alike. I think the quality of the printouts are fantastic but, if you want good printouts its worth having good quality paper because this makes so much difference to the quality of the printouts. I use to have an Epson and that was awful the colour always seem to be faded.
Overall ******** Having this multi functional printer is worth it just for the printer alone the quality is the best I’ve ever had, but you are also getting a photo copier and a scanner which are both additional and brilliant features I would definitely recommend this product value for money assured

I have to confess this was a hand-me-down as a friend of mine got an even better model but who cares its a quality printer.
It retails for about £170 from PC world and boasts a number of fancy functions. First the pros, the printer is great quality, i have just printed of my PhD thesis ready for submission, and the software supplied is easy to install/use and make scanning documents onto your computer as easy as pressing a button. The accompanying ... ...it sinks in. The printer is capable of printing from one edge of the page to the other and prints about 15 pages per minute, less if colour, more if B&W.
The printer and scanner/copier can both be used without switching the printer on from the panel on the printer from which you can decide how many copies, what quality etc..All this and you dont have to turn the computer on!!
The best bit has to be that you can insert your memory cards straight ...

Last week I got shut of my canon printer inkjet after 2 and a half years of use. The problem? I bought 2 new printer heads and they both went within the space 5 months. So...with change in mind, I went printer shopping again for my home PC. The HP psc 2175 is labelled as an all-in-one office friend, although this does not include a fax option. Not a big problem as, personally I didn't want to spend extra cash on a machine function that I wouldn't ... ...needed and a VERY useful poster (yes a full sized installation poster) in 12 languages. Let's look at what this can do and what would attract you, if you would need a printer/copier/scanner.
First of all - you must follow the instructions very carefully as the multi-functions all have seperate driver specifications. The printer has a touch pad operation display which can operate seperately from any Windows / Apple Mac applications...therefore if ...

Advantages: A PC not necessary but will operate with one in the same way as a copier and printer Disadvantages: The usual ones. High priced cartridges and seemingly no cheap ones available.
Using my computer for a lot of business work such as advertising literature, letters etc I found that my printer and copier I run off the PC were simply tying me down from other work and at the same time, having a wife who is brilliant at organising the paper work it seemed to me that we in effect wanted another office.
With this in mind we were out looking at all the options available when we spotted this machine available on offer and what a find ... ...do so much more and frankly its so much better too. LAYOUT OF CONTROLS AND OPERATION
Numerous buttons and a display on the top of the machine allow you to copy and print any number of copies and by selecting the correct button you decide if you require black and white or colour. There is a button to copy, a button to scan even a button to cancel. Arrows help you scan through the various settings and an options button to select the different options ...

Advantages: LOTS OF FEATURES,GOOD PRICE Disadvantages: HP SOFTWARE
We bought this separately after we had bought a p.c because the old printer we had was pretty useless.
I am really impressed with all the features and the things it can do for this price.
It can print, copy and scan and also has a memory card reader to scan pictures straight to the printer.
In scan mode if you have the right software it can scan in black and white or colour or greyscale.
In the print, copy and scan mode you can print/copy/scan ... ...can get away with black and white I would use this, and it does tend to eat away at the cartridges!
In the copy mode you can enlarge or decrease the size of the copy you want!
It is a good all round printer and I would definitely recommend it to you!
The only disappointing feature of this though is the H.P software that you get with it, I recommend using another software program for scanning! ...

Advantages: Reasonable Price, convienient to have 3 in 1, Disadvantages: No SD card on the Front, clumberson, expensive cartridges, relatively slow printing,
On purchasing this model I was suprised at how slow it was for normal B&W printing and annoyed at how quickly the ink cartridges ran out but mostly how expensive they were to replace! I then purchased a digital camera that was also hp as they were supposed to be compatible but when trying to print directly from the memory card i discovered that there was no SD slot. My father recently purchased another model of HP printer (hp photo smart 2610) and ... ...in print quality and speed and hence would recommend that you brought this newer model. It also has the SD slot on the front which is much more useful! I also agree with the other reviews that paper does frequently become jammed! Also photos that i have printed on photo paper are not of photo quality. ...
