I've used HQhair.com on a number of occassions to but shampoos, conditioners and hair styling products. I have always found this to be an incredibly pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience. The website itself is very easy to use. You select from a range of drop down boxes what you are looking for - male/female or hair/make-up and so on. The pages load really quickly and you can get to the products that you are interested in very quickly indeed. ... ...within the hair care sector, where you can find most salon-stocked brands.
The prices are much cheaper than what you would pay in a salon for a bottle of your favourite shampoo/conditioner. They also often have special offers on or deals on a package of products. I just love the service I get at HQ hair.com they are so thoughtful and efficient even gave me some freebies to make up for a post strike.
I get news letters with fab offers and all the latest buzz that really keeps me in the know with all the newest hair and beauty stuff. For example, the other week they gave away a bag stuffed with loads of free travel sizes in hair and skin brands and I have also had a free designer cosmetic ... ...I like their selection of cosmetics and they give advice on all the products too.
You must try the Wish & Gift List service it is so clever and a couple of times when I forgot to buy a mate a gift their Instant Gift Cards were magic.
Well that's my experience - credit where credit is due!

This site is appalling. I tried to order some products from them- South Beach Rocks butterfly hairclips. I entered all my personal details (including my bank details). I clicked to complete my order and was left with a blank screen and no indication of whether or not my order had been received.
I emailed straight away to try and resolve this, using the customer service form they provide on the site. However, a week later I have still had no reponse, ...

Hqhair is my lifeline for these types of products, stocking my entire wishlist of products for Hair, Body and Face: Bliss, Stila, Bare Escentuals, Urban Decay, Benefit, Nars - you name it, they almost certainly stock it! This isn't a place for everyday shopping - it's the kind of place to pick up a special treat for yourself, as most of these products are not for those on a tight budget!

Quick review of HQhair
I have just used HQ hair to buy a pair of GHD's.
I was looking for somewhere safe to buy from, HQ was attractive for two main reasons:
1] the best online price
2] use Quidco and get extra 6% cashback
I placed my order on Saturday, when there was no confirmation of order, I emailed them. I received reply Monday morning (I don't think they reply to anything over the weekend). It confirmed order received, gave me tracking number etc.
Irons received first thing Tuesday morning. Gone onto www.ghdhair.com/uk and registered them without problem - 100% genuine.
Can't fault customer service or delivery time, I expect it would have been even quicker had I ordered on a weekday.
I know there has been negative feedback, but I can't fault service I received. ...
