HSBC Gold Card

Having had one of hsbc's gold cards for a couple of years now i must say i am happier with it than with the standard card i had before, this is due to the extra benefits you get. It carries the visa symbol and is accepted in over 15 million outlets worldwide, if you feel that your credit limit is not enough you can call them and apply for an increase, as they may charge 15 pounds if you go over the limit. As an employee in the Cards and Lending section of HSBC, I can give an educated opinion of the card. The bank offers a 0% competitor balance transfer from all store and credit cards (providing there is a sufficient credit available) for 6 months. HSBC, as far as I am aware, is the only finacial institution that pays off the higher rate of interest first so when you make a payment each month, you are paying more off it.
