Absolutely awful! I bank with HSBC and so does my partner so we decided to open up a joint account - tried to do it by internet but heard nothing after two weeks so went into my local branch. They said to ring as we had to finish it on the phone - when we rang them we had to re-do our details again - bit annoying but fair enough. They said we would hear back in 3 days after a credit check. A week later we rang again and they asked exactly the same questions and said it would need to go to a chredit check - by this point i told them i had had enough and would cancel all my accounts if they did not contact me in the 2 working days promised. Surprise surprise this didn't happen and i had to go in to our branch to sort this out. The manager was helpful and logged my compliant - got a letter about 8 weeks ago saying we'd hear back within 8 weeks about it and surprisingly have heard nothing.
Awful company will be moving all of my accounts when i get a chanc - awful customer service!
