I bought one of these off eBay for a great discount off the RRP so I'd recommend shopping around on eBay and Amazon in order to get yours for a decent deal and at a lower price than the iPad. For the price I got it for (around £250.00), I consider this great value for money. Easy to browse the internet, all the Android applications are available, the user interface is fun and the screen is bright.

I preferred the size of the screen to that of the more bulky tablets as I considered the iPad too large to carry round on a day to day basis. I think that 7 inches is the ideal size for a tablet.

Disadvantages are that iPlayer only works if you readjust the screen, you don't get ALL the apps that Apple do, tablets in general are just for fun and so I wouldn't consider using this in place of a computer all the time and the camera is not that great.

My favourite features are the interactive weather forecast (which shows you what the weather is like on the screen), the eReader app with several free eBooks, the fact I could get Skype (though for some reason I couldn't rotate the screen correctly and due to the low quality of the camera, it wasn't as good as using Skype on an iPod for instance.) and the easy touch keypad for the internet browser and the notes app.

The stylus pen does not have character recognition which is disappointing but nevertheless you can write notes for your own use, (which won't send in email format unfortunately.) The tablet comes with a free cover which is of good quality and protects the screen from knocks and scratches.

Enjoy using this on a day to day basis, useful for the office and fun to use for iPlayer and Youtube.
Summary: Great value if you can get discount off RRP online, better size than the iPad at 7inch.

Good to know that there is life outside of the Apple "bubble" R.
