Several days ago i`ve got brand new Cell Phone (oh,sorry: A First Smartphone, based on Windows Mobile 6 ;-) ). Of course two-three days of usage will not tell a lot about this (smart)phone, but,newetherless I`m able to tell you some facts,based on my HTC S710 VOX usage. I`d like to point on fact, that SS710 is very compact (101x50x18 mm) and fits easily any pocket,but inside S710 it is hidden 201MhZ OMAP 850 processor, that doesn`t stall,WWiFi module, 2 keboards(numeric outside and QWERTY slide-out keyboard),EDGE,Bluetooth,GPRS.Oh,didnt`i mention fantastic sharp and bright display?!(NOTE: no manual brightness control available for user-S710 has built-in light detector).Actually,all - quality, hardware,design are tipycal for HTC - GREAT!(except the processor-it coul be at least 416MhZ Samsung).NOTE: HTC S710 has no touch screen!(if you need exactly a smartphone with touch screen and WM5/6 and numeric keyboard-get Asus P525-it`s fantastic,but big/bulky!) Sound quality for rings is high,and it`s VERY loud. Now,let`s get closer to WM6: It doesn`t differ a lot from WM5. It has built in Microsoft Live!Spaces/Mail/Search Icons and sound are much more pleasant and nicer and easier(?)interface. New Internet Explorer works faster(it download pages faster),it is easier to tune now all the features for your needs. Moreower, most of WM5 software will work also with WM6! WM6 is more efficient,stable and convinient.Connection does`n go crazy, for example or breakes. Switch on/off device is faster.E-mail client is much better now-all the e-mails are sent immedeately to the recepient automatically,not by pressinf Send/Receive,as it used to be with WM5,WM20003. All the other remaines on the high level of WM5. Now, the keyboard: as I told, S710 has 2 keyboards: fron one-numeric,like a simple phone,and slide-out qwerty keyboard. S710 is a real messaging device!It`s realy fast and convinient to send e-mails and SMS! But nevetherless it`s really compact! Because this device has no touch screen, all the work with it reminds the work with simple cell phone. Battery life is also good 3 days average with intensive GPRS/WEB browsing/E-MAIL,calls and WiFi at home or cafe. All in all, S710 is typical HTC product-high quality,goog price,brand new stuff.I would recommend this model to everyone ,who like numeric keypad for dialling and don`t mind absence of touch screen, and espetialli to thgose,who likes qwerty keyboards. To understand better this device it is better to test it personally.You`d rather love it or not. You may compare battery life/quality/the work of OMAP 850 processor by testin HTC P3300. Personally I like S710,but i lack touchscreen.In short time will change S710 for P3300 or Samsung i710.Wait for news-reviews!
