Advantages Advantages Sleek design, overall a well thought through phone

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor Battery Life, DLNA complicated to use

Introduction:- Upon being selected recently to test a HTC Sensation for a fortnight on behalf of Ciao I was more than eager to get my hands on the phone to put it through its paces. The reason for this being that I currently own a HTC Wildfire S, and really wanted to see what improvements had been made with the HTC Sensation and whether it lived up to its predecessors performance as well as all of the hype and good things that I have heard about the phone to date. Out of the Box and Setting It Up:- The HTC Sensation come securely packaged in a pretty solid smart looking black cardboard box ... more

3 Stars Are You Ready For The New Sensation? Review with images 03/10/2011

Advantages Advantages The graphics, screen and sound quality are stunning, many good features.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life, SatNav and connectivity issues.

I’m the kind of girl that likes technology but not the price tag so I was delighted when Ciao asked me if I’d still be willing to test the new HTC Sensation Smartphone. Although I’m very much in love with my Samsung B3410, I’ve always been curious about Smartphones with the main question being would I really benefit from owning one? For those of you that are blissfully unaware, a Smartphone is a device which can not only send and receive phone calls and text messages but you also have a satellite navigation system and a sophisticated web browser at your fingertips. However is the HTC Sensation ... more

5 Stars The HTC Sensation makes sense Review with images 04/10/2011
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Excellent all round smart phone, wide range of features good quality apps, rich presentation

Disadvantages Disadvantages built in FM radio signal rather dissapointing

HTC Sensation Review Introduction In the past, I have owned a number of basic phones that were used just to make phone calls and to send text messages. Having recently bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia x8 smart phone I had started to get used to a reasonably good level of internet services through the Wi-Fi facility. However on the HTC Sensation smart phone, I soon found myself being able to do much more. This HTC sensation does much more and better. It is also well known that HTC and Apple iPhone 4 at the moment are highly rated corporations where brand prestige is very closely matched ... more

5 Stars Confessions of a Smartphone Virgin.... Review with images 27/09/2011
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Can do just about anything!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't always get Youtube to work properly.

When it comes to the world of mobile phones, no one could ever accuse me of being ahead of the game. In fact, quite the opposite is true. Mobile phones were quite commonplace when I gave in and reluctantly bought my first “brick” about 10 years ago, and ever since that time my philosophy when it comes to mobile phones has been simple: Mobiles are handy to have in an emergency if someone needs to contact me urgently and calls and texts are really useful, but I would never spend more than £30 on a handset and a similar amount topping it up over a year. Things like internet and apps seem ... more
