Advantages: Thin but big, 1GHz processor, runs Windows, loads of extra software. Disadvantages: A little too sensitive, Not as many colours on screen as other phone
Well I got this phone and wow...Its big the screen is big, the processor inside is even bigger.
Its hard to explain the smoothness of the phone once it has started, however compared to my iPhone it is smooth and that is saying something.
With Windows Mobile 6.5 as the operating system the amount of software and customisation available is really out of this world.
The fact that the HTC HD2 is quite smart, ie when you pick up the phone to answer a call the ring volume goes down. With lots of little touchs like this it makes the user experiance quite outstanding.
The fact that the 1ghz processor inside really makes the whole phone run so smoothly. Add the fact that Windows Mobile 6.5 has a huge back catalog of programs most of which work without the need to adjust any advanced features to make it work, sort of put the other ...

Advantages: Looks great, loads of applications, good on board technology Disadvantages: A few bugs until you install the hotfixes, battery life could be better
For a Sony Ericsson 'fan-boy', I certainly didn't think that I would ever defect to another manufacturer. However, when my flatmate got the HD2, even though I had very few chances to check it out, I fell in love.
The HD2 is my first HTC device. However, certainly not my first touch device or Windows Mobile device; as I had previously owned the Sony Ericsson X1, and several other touch interface devices.
Now, as with any handset, there are always going to be negative points. So, I want to get those out of the way, so I can concentrate on the good points that make this such a great handset.
The HD2 operates on Windows Mobile 6.5, which is the most up to date version currently available. As with Windows, it does come with it's fair share of flaws, however, this cannot be blamed solely on Windows, as there are often issues with a number ...

Advantages: Beautiful, packed with everything you'll need in a phone (Texting now seems to work!) Disadvantages: short alarm tones, MP3 alarm option not available, battery life may be an issue for heavy users
The HTC HD2 is well worth the wait, and the investment. For a phone of such startling size, it fits remarkably well into pockets, and even the small-handed seem comfortably able to use it.
The device itself is stunning; at 4.3 inches, it has one of the biggest touchscreens on the market, and this screen is incredibly responsive, which is a credit most of the time, however it means that during times when more precision is needed, mistakes are easy to make, for example it took me a while to text without making too many mistakes, however HTC's XT9 predictive texting feature does help eliminate these. The screen is bright, scratch resistant and clear, perfect for movies and photos.
This phone is also packed with features, including bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 3G, internet tethering, and ambient light & proximity sensors. It runs on Windows ...
