This mobile phone has now been superseded by a new model which means that this ecxcelent model may now be very affordable. It’s not as fast as an Iphone but it has far fewer restrictions . The Touch Flo GUI (Graphical User Interface) is a little slow sometimes but still very usable. Like most high end models it has well functioning WiFi (Wireless Internet) These days Wireless internet is available without cost in many places. Now I can use it without carting my laptop around ïŠ . The phone is somewhat heavier than most but it does contain a high quality QUERTY keyboard that is very easy to use. The E-mail system is easy to set up and the Text Messaging system is excellent, unlike the Iphone it supports Flash which is commonly used on Web pages. The YouTube application is also excellent due to the high resolution display which is also touch sensitive to both fingers and the supplied wand. My favorite applications are the “Outlook” calendar and “One Note Mobile”. These applications will synchronize with the desktop versions if you have them. I also love the built in FM Radio which has good sound quality. The 3.2 Megapixel camera is of “reasonable” quality but no substitute for a real camera. There is a smaller forward facing camera which can be used to make video calls if your network, and pocket supports these. Internet access is available via WiFI or your Telecom company (GPRS/Edge or 3G). A nice feature is that you can also access the internet via your PC/Laptops Internet connection by using a supplied USB cable. The phone is sometimes quite power hungry . If you connect the PC cable when a PC/Laptop is available the battery can be topped up or recharged. The GPS works well although I find that I sometimes need to run the hardware setup program again if it is unable to see satellites. Unlike a stand alone GPS device it doesn’t download satellite position tables. Fortunately a “FastGPS” application is provided. This application can download GPS Sat. position data for the next week from the Internet.
