H&M is excellent if you are looking for fashionable clothes at reasonable prices. The shop is also organised by colour so you can be pretty quick to find what your looking for and find really cheap colour coordinated accessories to go with it.
You do need to be selective as most of the clothes are of average quality but you may find the odd bad quality item.

Soon, I started hearing more about it, in magazines and stuff, I saw clothes form the shop everywhere, famous people wear them, and so do my friends and models form magazines. So whats the big deal with H&M?
My opinion
I love H&M. If II had an award ceremony for shops (wouldn't that be a good idea?) H&M would prob. win best newcomer, not beacuse it's new, in fact H&M was established in Sweden in 1947, but beacuse I hadn't bought anything there intill this year, I didn't think much of it, but I have missed out.
I love all of their clothes! You can garuntee that you will find something perfect for that evening out on that shopping trip. The sizes are small, which is good for me cos I am a 6 and they start at an 8 so it fits me. The also do mens clothing and children/babies. I think this is exellent, an all rounder family shop is great. They should do kids clothes in topshop too!

It depends on the person with H&M. You ither love it or hate it. It has small sizes so some bigger women hate it for that, but other just dont like it because of the style of the clothes that they sell.
I have many items of clothing from H&M and it is mainly very good for fashion basics (white tops, shirts etc.)However, if you are looking for something a little more specific, (evening dress, THE right shoes) this isn't the place to go. The children's section is fabulous, though. I can garuntee though, if you love fashion, you will find at least one thing that you love here.

Staff I haven't really asked the staff for much because I believe that their opin9ion would be biased to the shop, and that they will say whatever they think will sell. I haven't asked the staff for directions around the shop ither, because as an independant woman I do not rely on staff to show me the way around. Personally though, I don't think they would be much use anyway if I asked them say now... for a pink cardigan to match a white skirt.
Refunds Refunds are quite simple at H&M. I have had a few refunds, the only thing is the usual 28 day. No worn items can be returned unless faulty, but they don't really seem to care much, well in the store that I go to anyway.
Prices As I have stated earlier, the prices are amazing for the clothes that they sell. You can always count on the store to have many bargains for a vast range of occasions.
Special Offers In the summer, there were many special offers on swimwear, and last season clothes. If you search you can find good bargains in their sales. I have had the perfect black skirt for collage there that is completely flattering, and it was only £7! I couldn't believe it. Although, there is somehtings that are blantly obvious why they are in the sale section, if you know what I mean.
Sizes I have said this earlier somewhere, the sizes are small. If your usually a 10, you will be a 12 here. They only go up to about 16 too. Thjere is a marternity section, which I think is great because you dont want to spend too much money on M clothes when your pregegnant, as you dont want to remember it anyway so you will throw them away! Childrens clothes go form 0-14+ and Lingerie go form A-D (in the shop there is a table and it says: A Small Boobs B Meduim boobs C Big boobs D Very big boobs.)
Shop layout Satisfactory layout to the shop, some parts look very messy and others look uber stylish. It depends on the sotore (and the cleaning staff). The outside on the other hand, looks like very sophisitcated. The models in the windows look like they have just stepped off a catlwalk in Milan. Very appealing.
SO? Overall rating? H&M have the latest fashions at affordable prices. Their style is slightly different from your average high street. The quality of their fabrics varies. Their lingerie section is also good. Their swimwear is excellent. Perfect for a student like me wanting to go on cheep holidays! Also, they have an accessories section which is not bad. I didn't like their make-up & skincare but they are very reasonably priced. I like to shop here because the prices are so fair (especially their sales) & the styles are unusual. Many people havent heard of this shop though, as it is quite a limited one. There is a few aorund, but they are not everywhere. I think that you can find your nearest store online.
I like H&M, and it is a usual stop on my weekly shopping trip. Cheap prices for nice clothes, what more can I ask for? Do you like it?

...out for a bargain and H&M is one of my favourite shops. They sell women’s clothes and some of the larger branches also sell children’s clothes too. My mum hates this shop, but if we are out shopping together and passing a H&M shop I will always drag her in for a mooch around. H&M was first established in Sweden in 1947 and they now have shops all over Europe including the UK. H&M stands for hennes & mauritz who first opened the shop.

H&M often have a sale on where you can buy two tops for £5 or other similar offers. The clothes in this shop are cheap compared to some other shops. You can easily find a pair of smart trousers for around £16.99 or a nice cardigan for £11.99. I like their t-shirt style tops which they sell for around £3.99 and they can easily be dressed up and suitable to wear for work. This is great shop ...

H&M have recently opened a new store in my area and having not been into it decided to have a look and to my absolute amazement I was confronted with a vast range of maternity wear amongst the large selection of children’s clothing which was housed upstairs (lift available for mothers with prams). The clothing seemed to be right up my street. It was all priced at a reasonable amount and there was quite a bit to choose from and ... ...so I can go into H&M and shop in the normal section of clothes as there does seem to be a wide range of modern and affordable clothing for all types of people. I think this store truly is great and I am glad one has opened so close to me. I believe these stores are scattered widely across the country and I am sure most of you have seen or shopped in there. But it was exceptionally handy for the maternity range so if you are pregnant I would say make ...

...a very different story about H&M stores. As a male, I used to love shopping at H&M and I would always make a point of visiting the shop when visiting my local shopping mall. Most days I would be wearing a whole outfit from H&M. I used to love the designs on the t-shirts, and owned several pairs of H&M jeans, all of which worn regularly. Not only were the styles and ranges good and at the height of fashion, the prices were very, very competitive. ... ...quite as positive towards the H&M brand. I do not wish to paint a negative picture of the store because I still do like to shop there to a certain extent, although not as much as I used to. I have found H&M to be a really excellent shop for finding good quality, modern clothes and at a really cheap price. They are always keeping up to date with the latest fashions and they always have my size in stock too which usually its hard to find a size 6 as its a petite size and most shops only stock a size 8 or above. H&M has many stores across the UK and Europe and they have a website online too
Most H&M stores are fairly large and you can ... ...problem i have found.
H&M sell clothes for all age groups and they have a large section that sells babies and childrens wear too. They also have a mens section. H&M sell a wide range of lingerie and swimwear and you probably wont find items of the same quality for the same price anywhere else on the high street. They also do lots of good special deals too, for instance - three vests in any colour for £10 or three t shirts for £12 etc which is great ...

...in the kids section of H&M for the first time last weekend and I was impressed by their selection.
They had a great selection of different styles and colours (and hardly any pink in the boys section!) which as Ifirst entered the store gave me the sense of being a child in a candy store.
Almost instantly I noticed about 4 items I wanted and that was before I even started browsing!
Once I began looking trough the racks I started to notice the price ... ...expect I would spend alot of time in here.
Overall, H&M had great clothing for kids that won't break the bank. Although I can't comment on durability as yet, the clothes I bought certainly seem of a good quality. I am sure this will not be my last visit! ...

H&M is my favorite clothes shop ever. Every girl has her fave, and this is mine! There aren't many shops where I am pleased with the prices, customer service and shop conventions equally, but H&M sure knows how to reel customers in and make them buy things.
The clothes are of really good quality. I've never had something break from there, even though I often wear H&M clothes over and over again. You can tell the clothes are made well just from the feel of them, though basic they may be. That's probably why the clothes are so cheap, because many of the things they sell are plain tees, plain trousers, plain shirts, etc. All the money has gone into the qualiy rather than fancy things!
However, they do have lots of nice, going-out clothes as well. I recently brought a really lovely polkadot shirt from H&M costing me £10.99, and a pretty ...

H & M is one of the best Highstreet stores i have come accross, not only for myself but also it is most definatly the best store for childrenswear.
They are up to date with wats going on in the higher end of the fashion business, but are resonably prices so even though the quility is not what you would get when shopping at a higher end store you get so much value for money that your able to change your wardrobe with the season.
H & M are huge stores so it sometimes takes a while to find what you are looking for,however they are well layed out and the window dressers give good idea as to how you may team items together.
H & M have a huge range and have normally go all the sizes they have available on the shop floor. ...

As I'm only 14 and not as some people say FAT I can fit easily into size 8, 10 and sometimes small 12's in clothing. Thats why I find H & M such a great store because of the large selection of sizes, also the great selection and variety of clothes themselves, which vary from a scarf to a fully fitted suit! H & M also sell jewellery, underwear and many accessories world wide!
The fasion industry has grown and grown over the years to an extent of fasion being some peoples high priority in life, What I look and feel like is important to me and many other women and men on our planet will agree with me here. (Mostly Woman!) It isn't bad to wonder what you look like, a good shopping spree will soon cheer you up if your not satisfied with your figure and a visit to any H & M store will DEFINITELY lighten up your day!
