H&M Tube Skirt

I'm very much a subscriber to Gok Wan's notion that you can get many looks out of a few pieces of clothing in your wardrobe. So now I make sure that I look out for items of clothing that I can use in many different situations - from going out, to just making things a little classier during the day. I very recently bought lots of 'going out' tops, and wanted a black bodycon, or in this case 'tube' skirt to go with them. I have seem these types of skirts everywhere lately but now that I wanted one, I was struggling to find them anywhere! Topshop had one for £22 which I almost bought until I remembered about H&M and looked in there first. In honesty, my wardrobe is fit to burst with skirts. I have a bit of a love for skirts as I feel the make an outfit look nicer than a pair of trousers. When I saw the collection of tube skirts in H&M for only £3.99 I was so excited to purchase a few different colours/patterns. For this price I did expect that the skirts would not be up to much, but I was surprised! I have owned them for around 5 months now and have had no problems at all. Style This skirt is essentially a much cheaper version of a bodycon skirt; very clingy, reveals curves and is extremely versatile; ideal for wearing to work or even school/college/uni paired with tights for a smarter look as it's not ridiculously short (just below mid thigh on me and i'm 5'3), or can be worn high waisted for a sexier, much shorter look. I've just bought this little black tube skirt from H&M in Austria for €5, a quick look on the H&M UK website tells me that you can get this in the UK for £2.99! Bargain! They actually had this available in around a half a dozen different colours in the H&M in Austria that I bought mine from, I bought the skirt in black. The UK website also shows the skirt available in a wide range of colours. I actually bought this primarily to go underneath a sheer black net shirt (also from H&M) that was essentially completely see through and so needed something underneath.
