‘A tub of frozen Baileys’ is a very good description of this ice-cream, and being a ‘Baileys’ girl and lover of ice-cream; what more could a girl ask for?! (No suggestions required thank you!) My favourite alcoholic drink mixed with the smoothest, creamiest ice-cream; absolutely gorgeous. I finally took the plunge and tried this for the first time a few weeks ago, and although I’ve had ‘one or two’ in the meantime, here I sit with yet another tub in my possession, to delight my taste buds once again!
>>>Description<<< As soon as you open the lid and remove the plastic seal, the instantly recognisable ‘Baileys’ aroma leaps up your nostrils, tempting you to plunge your spoon in, (and I don’t need telling twice!) The ice-cream itself is creamy beige in colour, almost like a milky coffee (a lot like the Baileys drink). The ice-cream has a very smooth, creamy texture, due in no small part, to the rich fresh cream and skimmed milk used to make it. It is very rich and creamy, and just melts away on your tongue. The taste is pure heaven, if you like Baileys, because that’s exactly what it tastes like. Although the bumph says there is only 4% Baileys in the ice-cream, it really is like devouring frozen Baileys, in which case, I would say that this is definitely one for the adults only.
>>>Packaging<<< The ice-cream comes in the now famous ‘Haagen Dazs’ tub. (A burgundy and gold coloured cardboard tub, with a gold coloured plastic lid). The Haagen Dazs logo is on the front of the tub with a miniature ‘Baileys’ logo too. The companys address and website address (www.haagen-dazs.com) are on the reverse of the tub, as well as the ingredients, although there’s no nutritional information listed (I can’t think why!)
>>>Price<<< For one of these 500ml (450g) tubs, you can expect to pay a typical retail price of 3.49 GBP, which is a tad expensive for the small tub you get, although they can sometimes be purchased as part of a special offer, saving you a few pennies.
Although this ice-cream is a little on the expensive side, it is worth buying as a little treat for yourself, providing you like Baileys of course. It is quite rich and creamy, and could be a little sickly if you eat too much (says she as she puts the empty tub in the bin!) And with the high rich, fresh cream content, it won't do you any good if you're trying to watch the calories. But it tastes divine! So if you like Baileys over ice, or just Baileys in general, you will definitely love this ice-cream. Try it for yourselves, just please remember to keep it out of the reach of children - that’s real Baileys in there y’know!
Thanks for reading, and enjoy! Luv Debsx

ADULTS ONLY Review ofHaagen Dazs Baileys Ice Creamby

Advantages: Mmmmm! Melts in your mouth, tastes like the real thing, Disadvantages: Doesn't last long enough, bad for your waistline
...had purchased a tub of Haagen Daaz Bailey's ice-cream, but had totally forgotten its existence since my plunge into a new diet. The tub had long since been forgotten and had crawled its way down to the bottom of the freezer. I pulled it out and kissed it, praying that the meal would be a success.
Sad to say, the ice-cream went down a treat, I was hoping to get it all to myself, but no such luck. This ice-cream really hit the spot and is definitely ... ...share!
As with all Haagen Daaz ice-cream, this one was creamy, rich and extremely high in calories. Made from fresh cream and skimmed milk it's easy to see why. I couldn't find any nutritional information on the carton and couldn't care less what it contained anyway, I was on a mission to see if this was as good as its claims. The diet could wait another day or so. You could easily be fooled into thinking that you were scooping frozen Bailey's, ...

...just love Baileys and eating Haagen Dazs Baileys ice cream is like drinking the real thing. I like to sit down in the evening with the tub and gorge myself while watching some real good film. PACKAGING
Do I really need to tell you? I think everybody must have heard of Haagen Dazs ice creams. But for those who have not - it comes in a 500 ml cylindral gold and burgundy tub with a Baileys logo on. TASTE, AROMA AND HOW LONG IT LASTS
If you like Baileys ... ...tub.
CALORIES AND INGREDIENCE
Haagen Dazs do not like to tell you the calories but if you look at the ingredience list you can guess it will be loads. It contains cream and 4% of Baileys. 4% is not very much considering how Baiseysy it tastes. It is a mistery. There is alcohol in but I would let my kids have it if they wanted to, it is not so strong (I put a lot more Amaretto liquer in my Tiramisu). You will not get drunk on it (unless you accompany ...

...don't get much better than Haagen Daaz and Haagen Daz ice cream that is buy one get one free to be precise. Two tubs of divine heaven for £3.79. My will power having deserted me in my basket they went, a Baileys and Toffee Creme variety was my choice. So after rushing home, I was in the kitchen with a spoon in my hand before I had took my jacket off. I think I'll try the Bailey's one I said to myself.
Now not really being a Baileys lover I wasn't ... ...one mouthful I knew I would and continued to scoff the tub in 15mins. Shocking I know.
So what does it taste like? Well it's creamy extremely creamy, mouth dribbling creamy to be exact. Best when it's slightly softened the decadence of the Baileys really shines through. The suttle taste of irish whisky which isn't too strong really does provides the ultimate indulgence, indulgence which is just too goo to share. A pale coffee colour and velvety ...

Advantages: Haagen Dazs Baileys Ice Cream = momentary heaven Disadvantages: momentary heaven = eating a whole tub of ice cream in under 10 minutes
...heaven that is Baileys flavour Haagen Dazs ice cream I feel it only proper to be eating it at the same time, all in the name of a good opinion of course! (ahem). This ice cream is without a doubt, the best I have ever tasted, with no exceptions, and if you're not very careful you could end up spending a fortune on this tasty little morsel. Its about £3.89 a pop, but if you're very lucky you might find some on a buy one get one free somewhere. This ... ...the first place (that and my mild alcoholism). Also its not particularly common and you may have to go on a bit of a hunt to find it. I had never even heard of it until it came in as a BOGOF offer at my work. At almost £4.00 a go I can understand why many people would not buy this, and its definitely not one to share with the whole family. You only have to have one spoonful to realise that. Its extremely creamy and rich and reminds me somewhat of ...

Advantages: fantastic taste, creamy and luxurious Disadvantages: pricey and moreish, not good for the diet!
i discovered baileys irish cream ice ceam a few years ago, whilst eating at a friends house. i had never had it before and didnt know what to expect, but i like baileys and although at the time it seemed like an odd combination, i thought i would give it a try. As soon as the spoon went in my mouth, i was on my way to heaven! the ice cream slowly melts in the mouth and out floods the luxurious flavour of baileys irish cream, it doesnt at all taste ... ...aching to eat it!
it goes very well with some chocolate sauce or wafers and is very moreish even on it own straight from the tub. since my initial experience ive been buying and eating an unhealthily large amount of this ice cream, and i never get tired of the flavour. if you can bare to share it, it goes down well with guests who always want more!
the tub, although not the most atractive, is quite sturdy and has a lid that is easily replaced if ...

Advantages: Great taste, very smooth, great with ice all year round. Disadvantages: A little expensive.
...in moderation which is probably the main reason that I don't buy it more often (that and the price). 700ml is available for £12.44 from Tesco & Asda and Asda also have 1 litre available for £15.00 which gives you a saving of around 27p per 100ml.
Baileys is delicious served over ice, with icecream or in a hot chocolate. The best thing with Baileys I have ever tasted is a cocktail at TGI Fridays which had Baileys, IceCream & Cointreau I believe and was just heavenly! I would also recommend BaileysIceCream (I believe it's HaagenDazs) it's just delicious and goes down a right treat!
I am rating Baileys 4/5 as it could really be a little bit cheaper, they've cornered the market with this product as the "fake" versions just aren't anywhere near as mine. I would definitely recommend this product but try to enjoy it in moderation...

...haagen's adiction...
I really recommend this producto to anyone who loves chocolate. If you just like chocolate, I'd say you'll like this one too, but you could also find this purity is a bit too high... Anyway, give it a chance, and don't say NO looking at the price of this product (the worst thing of this brand).
Finally, I'd like to say this haagen's got another diferents flavours, like HaagenDazs Cookies and cream, HaagenDazs Creme caramel pecan, HaagenDazs Sorbet-chocolate, HaagenDazsBaileysicecream, HaagenDazs cookie dough, HaagenDazs vanilla caramel brownie, HaagenDazs Vanilla icecream, HaagenDazs Banoffee caramel pie, HaagenDazs Choc choc chip icecream, HaagenDazsicecream dairy cookies and cream, HaagenDazsicecream lemon cheesecake, HaagenDazsicecream praline and cream and HaagenDazs strawberry...

Advantages: Great taste, refreshing and fulfilling Disadvantages: Oh, it is dear, my friends
...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeee ooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
An ejaculation of an icecream, HaagenDazs come in many a flavour, including Baileys. But when Mrs Borg and I go to the cinema we reach for our own favourites. Now Mrs Borg tends to select Strawberry Cheesecake - but I am more of a chocolate man and Haagan Dazs Cookies And Cream is the one for me.
They are somewhat pricey at about one-eighty for a small tub, but they are very nice. The actual icecream does taste like cookies and cream. We have vanilla icecream here, with choc and cookies crumbled into it.
They are refreshing to, so there is no need of a drink whilst you watch the movie.
The small tubs come with a small plastic spoon in the lid (save for the one in Mrs Borg's last night - a fact we discovered we when we had sat down in our...
