Here I go again with another food opinion but this time it's about a dessert, or 'afters' as my kids call it. Why they do is beyond me, afters to me is a lock-in at a pub but there you go.

So, on the menu for today, or rather last night was Haagan Dazs Vanilla and Caramel Brownie.
Now personally I would never have bought this, or any other tub of Ice Cream as I am not a particular fan of Ice Cream in general. But seeing ... ...just enough left for me to sample it, I decided, in the name of research (and cash) to finish the last bit off.
As it came home with the kids I am not too sure of the price but a quick check with nanny assures me it was around £4. Bit of a joke for the size of the tub, 500ml, barely feeds four kids with a dollop left. Another reason NOT to buy it.
One reason to buy this stuff though is the taste. As with all the Haagan ... more

One reason to buy this stuff though is the taste. As with all the Haagan Dazs Ice creams I have tried they do taste totally heavenly, this one is no exception but for four bloody quid then I am sorry but I expect that. I also expect it to jump up and do a tap dance for that kind of money, but alas it didn't.
Vanilla Caramel Brownie is a very creamy real vanilla ice cream, throughout the ice cream there are yummy swirls of caramel and pieces of chocolate brownie. The whole thing is to die for, the small portion that I had made me want some more but I do think a massive bowlful would get a bit sickly after a while.
Jeeez, You would never think all that lot could fit into one of their stingy tubs now would you?
As I said before, this ice cream was gorgeous, although I won't be testing anymore for the sake of my wardrobe, my trousers are already gasping for air they are so tight, so someone else will have to test the next one.
Overall it's a great Ice Cream from a great manufacturer, if you can afford the extortionate prices and the likelihood of clogged arteries. Best stick to the freebies that come with your pizzas or home with the kids from Nanny's house if you ask me.
I decided to treat myself tonight... my other half is working all night, so I thought it would be as good a time as any to indulge in some film watching - accompanied by none other than a tub of Haagen Dazs! I had no choice... I mean, I just went to the video shop to rent a DVD, and there it was... one of those glass door freezers, standing about 6 feet tall, containing, well, ice-cream... but not just any ice-cream... Haagen Dazs ice-cream! I spent ... ...picking a film, but in the end my choice was Vanilla Caramel Brownie.
Why Vanilla Caramel Brownie?
It was the picture on the front of the tub tat swayed me. If you've ever seen Haagen Dazs ice-cream before, then you'll be familiar with the luxurious, but somewaht American looking cardboard carton that it comes in. The maroon and gold coloured patterns swirling over the tub, with the Haagen Dazs logo at the top and a small picture to indicate the ...

One of the best things about Christmas for me is that I don't like christmas pudding one bit. This means that my dear old mum treats me to a whole tub of Haagen Dazs and I sit in front of the telly all afternoon with my tub and my spoon and scoff the lot. Normally I go for good old vanilla or pralines and cream flavour, but this year I've put in my order for Vanilla Caramel Brownie.
Haagen Dazs the company began in the USA in the 1920s. It made ... ...knows where the name came from, but in no time it was famous America-wide and soon they were opening up Haagen Dazs cafes. Not until 1986, though, did we get Haagen Dazs in this country. And god, was it worth waiting for!
HD ice cream is the best quality ice cream around, made with fresh ingredients including real vanilla, double cream, real eggs, real fruit and yummy macadamia nuts. It is not a diet food, with 100g coming in at around 270 calories ...

Advantages: THERE IS A WIDE VARIETY Disadvantages: VERY FATTENING
My son Steve decided to have a pizza tonight but before he phoned his order in he asked what I wanted. I really didn’t fancy a pizza so with my six year old grandson in mind we decided on ice cream. They only sold haagen dazs, so I went through the flavours with him and there are quite a few to pick from.
Pralines and cream.
Strawberry cheesecake.
Belgian chocolate.
Baileys.
Vanilla chocolate fudge.
Cookies and cream.
Lemon cheesecake.
Vanilla ... ...as I was worried the others may be a little sickly for a child. The price shocked me £3-99, but as I wasn’t paying it was ok, but you may think it expensive but dont forget this is a luxury ice-cream its taste is smooth and rememberable, not a nasty lingering after taste in sight.
When it finally arrived I studied the tub it contained 500g, and was the normal round tub that you associate with haagen dazs. The colours on the tub are gold and maroon, ...

haagen's adiction...
I really recommend this producto to anyone who loves chocolate. If you just like chocolate, I'd say you'll like this one too, but you could also find this purity is a bit too high... Anyway, give it a chance, and don't say NO looking at the price of this product (the worst thing of this brand).
Finally, I'd like to say this haagen's got another diferents flavours, like HaagenDazs Cookies and cream, HaagenDazs Creme caramel pecan, HaagenDazs Sorbet-chocolate, HaagenDazs Baileys ice cream, HaagenDazs cookie dough, HaagenDazsvanillacaramelbrownie, HaagenDazsVanilla ice cream, HaagenDazs Banoffee caramel pie, HaagenDazs Choc choc chip ice cream, HaagenDazs ice cream dairy cookies and cream, HaagenDazs ice cream lemon cheesecake, HaagenDazs ice cream praline and cream and HaagenDazs strawberry ...
