Where do I start? I like Habitat's design like most of the people here, but their customer service is abysmal. I purchased four Flame chairs on 30 Nov 2006. When I unpacked them one was damaged, so began the frustrating and painfully slow process of getting it replaced. After hours (literally - the phone-back system at the TCR store does not work and no-one has the authority/inclination to action anything when you finally speak to someone) on the phone, visiting the store at no little inconvenience, speaking to a variety of charming but ineffective menbers of staff, waiting for phone calls they just don't make, writing to Sir Terence Conran and the head of the entire company's customer service department and having a chair I couldn't sit on, on 4 April 2007 I managed to get the old one picked up and a new one delivered. Do not expect anyone to care about you once you have paid for your item.
