Advantages: does a quick wash in less that half an hour Disadvantages: won't spin properly unless full load
I bought my machine of a auction site. I had never actually heard of Haier washing machines before, but had a lot of fun bidding for it. I had already been told that appliances bought of an auction site, would probably have a bit of damage to them. When the machine arrived I found one small dint in the side, which when it was in situ couldn't be seen, so I was happy with it.
The appearance of the machine is good, it is silver and fits in with any decor. There is quite a large range of wash cycles including quick wash. There are variable spinning speeds, the top one being 1400.
The first wash I did I was extremely pleased with. I just used quick wash and the clothes came out clean and well spun. The next was I did was not a full load and when i got the clothes out they were absolutely dripping wet. I tried to spin them again ...
Advantages: Good if you get one which actually works Disadvantages: it's much faster to list the good points about this machine almost everything is bad
hello there i am an experienced white goods engineer who deals with all brands of washing machine, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, tumble dryer, i work for a certain high street chain who sells loads and loads of these haier washing machines and what i can reveal is quite shocking 75% of these machines develop at least one fault within the first year most common being the pcb (printed circuit board) reseving a poor signal from the taco on the motor making the machine belleve it's unbaleneced this however isn't the only problem motor brushes WILL melt in some cases catch fire and finally the bearings are constantly failing, theres a reason why our chain took these off the market for a while, two words DON'T BUY. ...

Haier was not a familiar name so I clicked through to their website. I was surprised to find a leading Chinese manufacturer established in 1984 with German knowhow. They have since expanded into Europe and are one of the top businesses in mainland China. Chinese dishwashers? Why not.
I ordered a Haier WQP6-2 via the searchappliance website (no delivery charge) and it arrived within four days. After unpacking, I pushed it into the space under the hob with baited breath. It was a few centimetres too short and a few centimetres too narrow but the depth was perfect. It looked better than the Zanussi. Problem solved. So how well does the Haier perform?
Pretty well, actually. The machine, which only comes in white, has six place settings. This is half the capacity of most family dishwashers ...
