Haier HWC1460

Advantages: does a quick wash in less that half an hour
Disadvantages: won't spin properly unless full load

I bought my machine of a auction site. I had never actually heard of Haier washing machines before, but had a lot of fun bidding for it. I had already been told that appliances bought of an auction site, would probably have a bit of damage to them. When the machine arrived I found one small dint in the side, which when it was in situ couldn't be seen, so I was happy with it. The appearance of the machine is good, it is silver and fits in with any decor. There is quite a large range of wash cycles including quick wash. There are variable spinning speeds, the top one being 1400. The first wash I did I was extremely pleased with. I just used quick wash and the clothes came out clean and well spun. The next was I did was not a full load and when i got the clothes out they were absolutely dripping wet. I tried to spin them again ...

Shocking things to know about haier's

Advantages: Good if you get one which actually works
Disadvantages: it's much faster to list the good points about this machine almost everything is bad

hello there i am an experienced white goods engineer who deals with all brands of washing machine, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, tumble dryer, i work for a certain high street chain who sells loads and loads of these haier washing machines and what i can reveal is quite shocking 75% of these machines develop at least one fault within the first year most common being the pcb (printed circuit board) reseving a poor signal from the taco on the motor making the machine belleve it's unbaleneced this however isn't the only problem motor brushes WILL melt in some cases catch fire and finally the bearings are constantly failing, theres a reason why our chain took these off the market for a while, two words DON'T BUY. ...

Soccer Is For Wimps

Advantages: Totally fascinating insight into this Irish sport
Disadvantages: A bit hard to find!!

Introduction ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Before I go on to describe to you the GAA Museum at Croke Park in Dublin, it is necessary that you have just a little background to exactly what GAA games actually are. For those of you who don't know what GAA stands for, it is the “Gaelic Athletic Association”, which is the governing body for Gaelic football and hurling, both here in Ireland and overseas. Gaelic Football ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Gaelic football, for anyone who hasn’t yet seen it played, is a kind of mixture of rugby and soccer. Played with a round ball as in soccer, the ball can be played with either the feet, or handled and passed as in rugby. The goalposts used are the same as in rugby, but both goals and points can be scored; goals when you put the ball between the posts and under the bar as in soccer ...
