Booked engineer to visit but night before he came heard banging noise and went into garage to find machine whining but drum not moving. Bearings gone on machine and it has been written off after only 6 months of regular use. Avoid at all costs, engineer also told us that is very hard to get parts for it so I'm putting extra money and upgrading to a bosch with a 2yr guarantee included in price...

I can concur completely with H Mack I bought the 1400 spin version of Haier from Comet. The washing machine starts offf well but within 2 weeks the drawer leaks etc. Mine was just 2 months old when the motor blew melting onto the brushes an scorching the side of my plith. I got a full refund and have put it towards a BOSCH. Avoid ALL version of this machine at all costs, i dread to think what would have happened if my electric system did not have a safety cut off ...

Quick review of Haier HD 1200 TX
Haier 1400 spin washing machine delivered on the friday. by the sunday it wouldnt spin! and doesnt wash proply. phoned the comet helpline and was told that they would charge to come out to see it even though the machine was only 2 days old but was told that is the way the macine is. eco setting only works with a full load, but even then doesnt spin.
deff not eco friendly.
dont waste your money on this machine. ...
